The food is really good here. The tomato pie is the best. The Italian dinners are also good. Service is very good and from the outside the place looks small but it's really big inside. Go here you will enjoy it. Prices are not bad at all.

In love with the pesto tortellini & the ricotta cheesecake. Often order to go and the food is always ready on time and piping hot.

This is our go to place! The food is amazing, my son loves the lobster Mac n cheese and we always get the gnocchi, it's the best. The garlic knots are a must try. My husband and I will stop in for a drink sometimes and the bartender Mary is awesome. Service is always fast and friendly whether you're eating in or taking out.

What are some people complaining about? I can tell the pasta is homemade. Tried gnocchi for the first time and it was good. Their tortellini with butter sauce is sooooo good. Everything was takeout. The place was packed too! I guess that's a good thing. Don't knock it til you try it.

Delicious Italian comfort food and well-made drinks, served by friendly, attentive servers in a clean, bright, family-friendly atmosphere, filled with good Philadelphia vibes. I had the sea bass and lemon risotto special and it was outstanding. I don't often find myself in Roxborough, but I'll definitely be heading back to this Philly neighborhood gem.

Mary is the "Best bartender" in Philadelphia! The food at Maria's is great! My favorite is the Margarita Pizza. But my favorite drink is the Lemoncello Martini! Mary is one of the best bartenders I've ever seen work the bar and the service wait staff. Here is a photo of my Martini

A wonderful neighborhood bar and restaurant. Have enjoyed their specials as well as their regular menu food. If you go try their crab cakes they were especially delicious as was the rack of lamb. Look forward to trying everything on their menu.

It has been a long time since we had dinner at Maria's ( before the pandemic), but it has not lost a step. The bar area has supersonic sound when it is crowded, but the dining room is the exact opposite -- quiet and very pleasant. Everything we had was excellent, especially the spinach salad (huge) and delicious cod special. And the "house" Chardonnay at $10 was much better than much more expensive ones I have had elsewhere. And a FULL glass, unlike most restaurants. And our server, Cate, was the absolute best -- a delightful, charming, friendly lady with a great sense of humor. A wonderful neighborhood restaurant for 20 years!

Best homemade food , Great service & Staff . Can sit in a cozy Dining room or at a comfy Bar area . Either way is enjoyable and relaxing . We frequent at least 2-3 times a week . Also , very reasonably priced .
